Not all solid wood beds are the same. Many beds use lighter softwood pine, plywood or mixed materials. Eddie’s main frame is built from 100% solid rubberwood hardwood, with high-quality engineered wood used only in the patterned sections of the headboard panels. Dense rubberwood creates a stronger, more stable structure than many pine beds, supporting everyday use and long-term value.

Deep-profile side rails are reinforced with L-shaped steel corner brackets and triple M8 bolts. Strong LVL timber slats, secured with screws, provide reliable mattress support. The adjustable two-height base offers flexible sleeping height and trundle clearance.

The wheeled pop-up trundle stores beneath the main bed and lifts on folding legs to create a sleeping surface beside it. Assemble the main bed base at the upper setting when using a trundle mattress up to 190 mm thick.
